Tecnopolo Mirandola at Swiss Medtech Day 2025 in Bern

On June 25, the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland will participate in the Swiss Medtech Day in Bern (https://www.swiss-medtech.ch/en/swissmedtechday), presenting the Tecnopolo Mario Veronesi from Mirandola (https://tpm.bio/en/) to the Swiss professional audience.

Building on the initiatives launched in 2024, the goal is to strengthen connections between the Tecnopolo Mario Veronesi and potential Swiss investors, companies, and professionals in the Medtech and Pharmatech sectors, by showcasing its advanced applied research services in the medical field.

On behalf of Promos Italia, the Chamber will offer registered participants the opportunity to explore concrete collaboration opportunities with one of Italy’s leading centers of excellence in the registration of medical devices, biomedical equipment, and advanced medical technologies. B2B meetings with representatives of the Tecnopolo will also be available upon request.

One of the Tecnopolo’s core missions is the development of biological models capable of replicating human tissues in pathological conditions—an essential tool for testing the effectiveness of drugs and medical devices.

A second part of the initiative will focus specifically on the Swiss Pharmatech sector. The Tecnopolo will present a new technological solution to both CCIS members and non-members operating in the pharmaceutical industry, with the aim of identifying and addressing concrete needs within the Swiss market.

On June 25 at the Kursaal in Bern, Swiss Medtech Day will bring together researchers, corporations, and innovation hubs to share knowledge, develop partnerships, and explore strategic opportunities.

In this context, the Tecnopolo will highlight its expertise in the following areas:
• Development of biological evaluation plans and reports
• Toxicological risk assessment (based on analytical results from in-house GLP-certified or external laboratories)
• Clinical evaluation plans and reports, including PMCF activities
• Usability testing for medical devices undergoing regulatory approval
