The Italian Consulate in Basel, in cooperation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland, its Basel Chapter and the co-sponsor Regione Calabria, launches the “Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo” edition 2024 in Basel. The Consulate and its partners are glad to invite you on the 21st of November at the Pfister Werkstatt event “Mediterranean diet: from tradition to innovation”.
The Italian culinary tradition will merge with Italian food tech innovation, where the taste of the past will meet the dynamism and technology of the present in a beautiful location of Kleinbasel.
Here the highlights of the event:
• Nutritionist Tatiana Gaudimonte of “Love your body” from Zurich will make us aware of the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet on health and fitness
• Founder Mario Ubiali, of “Thimus” from Brescia will lead us through a journey in neuroscience and food emotion presenting the new food tech value proposition of its startup already gone global and eager to scale up
• The panel will be rounded by a food and wine tasting led by sommelier Fabio Tufano (Heineken Swiss / Kellerei St. Georg AG) where a selection of wines from Calabria will be paired with Calabrian and Swiss specialties.
• At the end we will open up to free networking in an authentic Italian atmosphere.
